arghhh, I knew you were a bunch of pirates at heart! (I'm sure
"bunch" isn't
the correct collective noun, but hey)

Wireshark (http://www.wireshark.org/ )  will find
most things given time
(and assuming network topology / security doesn't prevent it) - and will
also capture the data - which can be useful for genuine diagnostics.  I
believe it evolved from Ethereal.
