I put so many holes in the ceiling (for speakers and various other
things)
- my hole cutter was well worth it.

Adjustable up to 220m (big enough for your head) and also has a perspex
trap surround - so 99% of dust stays in the perspex cage and doesnt shower
the room and you with plaster dust. A much more pleasant experience !

Thanks Paul - you were spot-on and a hand saw was perfect.

Cutting the holes for the speakers was the part I was least looking
forward to however it much easier than I expected, even by hand.

The speakers I've put in sound pretty too - again much better than I
was fearing. So much better, that SWMBO is talking about putting them
in the lounge too :-)
I'll do a better write up once they've been in for a while.

Cheers,

Tim.

saw is very quick and easy to use and a LOT cheaper :) Can be a bit messy
though, so a sheet and/or plastic bags rigged up as temporary protection
is a good idea.
