A question for anyone involved in imports...

I now have a company sorted for sea freight shipping from the US to UK for
some large kit - bizarrely though, they can't arrange insurance! So -
anyone know if there's a cost effective method for arranging separate cover
i.e. doesn't cost more than the shipping itself!?
