We have a Roomba 560 and it is a much better version of the original
model. It cleans pretty well, goes about its business for longer and it
parks itself on the docking station when the battery needs recharging. The
self-docking only works when the docking station happens to be in the same
room and easily seen by the Roomba when its battery is running low. It
also has a built-in clock so that a cleaning schedule may be programmed.
eg. Start the cleaning at midnight.

Our dog used to be scared of the thing but now only gets out of the way
when necessary.
