RE: Sky Link - No stereo audio problem

By Skylink I assume the only signal feed to the new TV is via coax
from the
RF2 output of the Sky box.

If so, everything is working perfectly. The RF output of any set top box or
VCR is MONO ONLY as Nicam encoders are very expensive. The only way to get
Stereo Audio is using a SCART lead or S-Video + Phonos, either direct
connection of by using KAT5 or similar.

Hope that helps

Keith

Subject: [ukha_d] Sky Link - No stereo audio problem

Hi all,

I have installed a new Samsung LCD in our bedroom today and connected
our Sky TV Link (not sure of the brand as no make / model on it!). I
get an ok picture but the audio is mono only. I've checked the Sky box
settings, etc. and it should be stereo. As our previous CRT was mono
only I never needed to question it before.

Can anyone help me figure this one out?

Regards
Darren
