RE: Robot chair follows you round the library ...



This is *exactly* what I've long wanted to do with my kitchen bin, -
which I've already mounted on castors so it can wheel all round the kitchen
- currently it just gets manually pushed to wherever it's needed. For at
least a couple of years now I've thought it would be really cool (and
actually quite useful for a change!) to be able to have it follow a person
around just like these chairs do, or, possibly just to be able to
"come to heel" when beckoned.

Unfortunately, I've never had the the time or the ability to engineer such
a system...
