Yes, can be higher current (mA) output.
But you need to know whether you existing PSU is regulated or not.
If you're not sure it is best to get a regulated one.

It might be cheaper to buy a new printer out there than buy a huge
step up transformer.

I've got a couple of 120Vac UPSs for sale (American connections).
They've been hanging around for ages so I would like to shift them!
They'll be very very cheap!!   Best to ship them without batteries
though and buy new batteries out there.
Would you be interested?
