RE: Software for room drawings

It certainly would be the right software - it's really good for
drawing quick room layouts to scale and then drawing in basic boxes for the
wardrobes. You can then move the boxes around, edit them etc and do some
what if planning that way - excellent and really quick once you've got to
grips with the basics (which doesn't take too long, especially if you watch
the tutorial videos).

You can then get much more in-depth if you want and then refine your
models, add materials and even add a plug-in ray tracer for superb high
quality renders - if you want or need to go that far.

All of these massively helped me visualise the space and move kit around -
for example, my loft conversion has turned out amazingly close to the
renders :)
