RE: RE: X10 dimmable lights
I've been having an "interesting" conversation with the guy at
"banthebulb.org" by playing a bit dumb and asking for suggestions
for
replacing all my incandescent and halogen fittings with energy efficient
fittings suitable for use with electronic dimmers...
The email is on my other machine but aside from suggesting that I talk with
a specialist lighting supplier such as B&Q (yes, really, that's who he
suggested as a specialist) he does say that he considers dimmability an
expensive luxury that can be dismissed as frivolous and unnecessary and you
should simply design your lighting correctly in the first place so that the
ability to dim is not required.
We do love these people...
