[OT] (very OT actually!) - Access programming

Sorry for the 2nd OT in the space of a week!

Is anyone here familiar with coding MS Access 2003 databases & would be
willing to give me a bit of assistance? - nothing too complicated, I
just need some pointers to get me started. - I need to do some fairly
basic string manipulation to the data within existing tables, - search
&
replace, splitting fields in two etc.... - I don't want to just "do
it"
myself from the UI, since I want to be able to repeat the operations,
and to automate them.

Cheers.

Paul G.

PS, replies OFFLIST please... :-)
