Hey Des,

Indeed, it was the first thing I tried, unfortunately the same. I just
don't understand how the S-video signal can be clean, but the composite
is blurry. The composite signal should in theory be just as good.

S-Video----> S-Video to Phono connector---->Composite

Since the s-video signal is clean you would expect the composite to be
also.

All very weird :\
