RE: Web control/child filtering software for a Windows XP netbook

I've been using Bluecoat's K9 software. Uses their full corporate URL
database which drives many corporate filtering solutions and allows you to
set which category of page you wish to allow / deny.

Not sure on the footprint. I haven't noticed any impact on my desktop
though.

Subject: [ukha_d] Web control/child filtering software for a Windows XP
netbook

Hi all,
I need some software to go on a netbook running windows xp for when my
friends 10yr old uses it to go online! Not that we think he'll be too
bad with it just want to prevent the inadvertent finding of anything
he shouldn't!

Any reccomendations? Ideally free of course and something that uses
minimal resources.

Thanks

Noel
