Maybe the the new GPU takes off a lot of that load?
Which would make it not suitable for 1080p under XBMC, which currently uses
CPU horse power only to decode video.

They do, but I'd like to hear more about what HD they can actually handle.
Seems strange that a 2GHz Core 2 Duo is recommended for 1080p playback on a
mini, yet the Eee is just a 1.6 Atom?
