Thanks for that. I ordered one from CurrentCost yesterday at it turned
up
about 1/2hr ago.

Plugged it in and it was reading around 1.2kW. Turned off a few bits and
pieces, including shutting down a 24x7 PC and it's down to around 950W.

Given the 'essential' kit that I have running 24x7, I don't expect I'll
come
down a great deal from that.

I can see the biggest problem being the wife nagging at me whenever I turn
anything on, now :-(

CurrentCost (freebie from Scottish & Southern Elec. for signing up).

Ours hovers around 800W ish. Working on reducing it though...
