I have the same lead... work fines for me.
Do you need to fiddle in the proper XBOX dashboard to enable it? Vaguely
rings a bell, was a long time ago :)

Hi all,
Has anyone got digital audio working from an xbox with xbmc?!
Try as much as I have I've never been able to get this working, I have
an official MS hi def breakout kit to give me toslink and component
out, Marantz receiver/amp that works perfectly on surround with my mac
mini, but i've never cracked it.
Any tips or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
