Smartfit - Comfort - Good Solution?

I have just had some work done on the Central Heating System and now
come the time for me to decide on the heating control.

I was originally planning to spend 2K on the Hometronic system but
this will not link easily to other systems in the house and it rather
a lot of money.

So I am again looking at Smartfit that will not give me zoned control
but will interface with Comfort.

I suppose my very simple question is Does Smartfit and Comfort do what
they say on the tin? ie Does it work well?
