There is a program called Eventghost (http://www.eventgho
<http://www.eventghost.org> st.org),
that is used for home cinema automation in the first place, but hast
an open plugin infrastructure. One of the available plugins supports
the CM15A.

Eventghost can control other programs, and can be controlled by
remote control(s) and/or web browser.
