I presume the whole X10 approach was due to having no Cat5 in the
vicinity (if there is, it's much easier to implement a better solution)? I
guess curtains is one physical location where it's less likely to have Cat5
if you've flood wired - I know in my case it was much harder to run
multiple Cat5 into these kinds of locations, what with window lintels etc
in the way...
