Agreed, it is fiddly, especially the 'B' drag.

Are you using a WiFi or wired Wii connection? If WiFi, you may be getting
interference or congestion problems. I'm waiting for a wired adaptor to
arrive for my Wii. I've not had iPlayer drop outs (to be fare, I haven't
used it that much), but have had drops in the Mii contest and news
channels.
