Depends what you're using it for. If you are going to be running
several
CPU intensive applications, then the quad will be better.  If not, the
extra speed of the duo will be preferable (remember - not many apps are
written to take advantage of multiple cores).

An even bigger factor is the bus speed - get a motherboard with a
1333FSB  - the difference that will make will outweigh a slighly faster
CPU clock speed.
