Ripping DVDs and playing back the VOBs wirelessly...

I'm looking at ripping some of the kids DVDs, storing them on an ITX
box I used for Slimserver and then playing them back wirelessly.

I was planning on using Slysoft's CloneDVD and AnyDVD for ripping but
am pondering what to use for playback.

Any ideas how and XBOX with XBMC and a wireless adapter will perform,
or what other things I should consider?
