Interesting. It is always difficult when you get your quaterly
electricity bill to work out where the usage is going.

For me I am investing in sub-metters that are DIN mounted in the CU
and then meter each ring. The data is output as pulse readings and
fed into me HA based on the Idratek pulse counting module.

Obviously this isn't something Joe public would do. Kill-a-Watt
meters are also useful for individual appliances (showed my washing
machine uses ~0.4KWh at 40 degrees but less than ~0.25KWh at 30
degrees)
