To be honest for what I'm trying to do I don't really need it to be that
fast - I guess it's just out of interest/curiosity than anything!

As it is I managed to find a 20Gb 2.5" hard disc last night in a pile
that
seemed to be working and not contain anything useful so I've chucked that
in the "HA PC" for now which gets it going without the bearing
noise of
the old 3.5" 10Gb drive so I'll use that for now and see what I can
cull
XP down to with the software that i need to run and then decide what size
card I need to put it on. :-D

Anyway, I'm moving house over the next two weeks and will be lodging with
a friend in the short term after that so I'm hardly going to be needing a
HA controller for a while anyway so plenty of time to fix it!

Phil
