[OT] Scripting in Vista Services.

  • Subject: [OT] Scripting in Vista Services.

I'm currently updating xPL apps to work with .Net 2.0 and Vista, but
one has me stumped, and I'm hoping to pick some brains here...

The program needs to create an MSScriptControl, and this works fine
in a regular application, but if I'm running as a service, the dll
fails to load.

Under previous versions of Windows this is not a problem, so I'm
assuming there is some new "security" feature in Vista that stops
me
running scripts from a service. It's not the UAC because that is
turned off on my PC.

I'm hoping there is a way round this - the scripting system is
rather important!

Thanks

Mal
