Geovision question?

Calling Geovision users: just a quick confirmation.... If I want to
add
I/O signalling from GV-system, to Comfort, is the GV-Net-IO card the
*only* additional hardware I need?

I have a GV1120 card currently. I want to inform Comfort when motion is
detected by certain cameras. If I've understood it correctly, I just
need to add the abovementioned card, which will give me 4 outputs that I
can connect to Comfort inputs. 4 would be adequate for now, but if I
want to increase that later, am I correct in thinking that I can just
add a GV-IO-12-OUT  card or a GV-IO-BOX?... - If I've understood it
correctly, those other units can't connect directly to the capture card
on their own, but must daisy-chain through the GV-Net-IO card first?...

e.g.     GV1120----> GV-NET-IO ----> Comfort inputs     (for max 4
signal lines)
GV1120----> GV-NET-IO ----> GV-IO-12-OUT or GV-IO-BOX
----> Comfort inputs (for up to 12 signal lines)

Also, what can I usefully do with the RS232 port on that card? - the
installation diag shows it being connected to the PC's COM port.. - then
what? - does it signal GV events via RS232? - could I then in theory
open that PC COM port in Homeseer to read GV events into Homeseer?

Thanks!

Paul G.
