[OT] Outlook Express Email Handling

  • Subject: [OT] Outlook Express Email Handling

Hi everyone,

Hope you can help.

Have setup a new website for my Dad's work (www.dad.com for example) and
given him an email address for example dad@xxxxxxx (with 123 reg)

When someone sends an email to that address it redirects to another email
address which is with GMail (dad@xxxxxxx)

Have setup his Outlook Express so it downloads from googlemail (gmail
incoming server). That works fine.

However, although outgoing email addresses have a 'reply-to' address to
dad@xxxxxxx, the email address it has arrived from shows dad@xxxxxxx

I presume this is something to do with the outgoing mail server settings
(do
they need changing to something else i.e. 123 reg??).

How can I get it so his email address is from dad@xxxxxxx?

Does that make sense??

Mark
