Time shifting/recording radio?

Is anyone aware of a device or Windows software that allows playing of
radio channels (high quality) and the ability to time shift and record?
Just like Sky+ but more user friendly than the radio features of Sky+. Also
has to be controllable via an HA system i.e. some kind of remote control as
I'll be using it in a whole house audio system. Some kind of feedback would
be good too so I can tell when it's recording/paused etc. I'd probably feed
this into the Russound LCD wall controllers I have, so it'd show
"recording", "paused" etc.

Any ideas?
