Remote Desktop wouldn't generally work as a remote control for a
different main display.   There are various apps being developed around
the Autonomic server, but I haven't tried any yet.  I use a Nokia 770
tablet to control VistaMCE using http://www.mceguru.com which is ok, but
that guy does intend to release a generic linux version to run on any
linux remote device.
