Possibly one for Ken Watt (are you still here Ken?)

My American fridge/freezers' in-door icemaker has stopped working, and I'd
like to know why!!

The troubleshooting guide in the manual is pitifully simple, and I've
already exhausted all the suggestions therein. Are there any resources
online that I could look at service procedures etc? anyone here know what
"usually" goes wrong with these things?
