Just let it get cold - it'll be unlikely *EVER* to get to freezing point in
a garage and even if it does it should (one hopes) be dry so it'll be fine.

Heat is much more of a problem.

(In fact I'm looking at a house tomorrow where my specific intention is to
see whether the brick built outhouse would be suitable for housing all my
server needs - it's away from the main house in case of fire too!)
