Just to be clear on this, the issue was caused by a faulty batch of VGA
cables from the supplier. One pin on the cable was grounded when it
shouldn't have been. Typically this only seemed to affect thinkpads !
We offered to replace the faulty cables, but in the end we had the
screens collected and then made a full refund.
There have been no other incidents with these screens.
We take a lot of time ensuring that the products we stock work properly
and are of good quality, it is not in anyones interest to sell bad
products.
