RE: Linux distro choice for HA server

I've been using SME Server from http://contribs.org for the last two
years and it's worked flawlessly. A good forum with a wide range of
user contributions, regular updates.

Although, whilst I'm running additional applications on the machine, I

Subject: [ukha_d] Linux distro choice for HA server

Hi Folks.

I have eventually got arround to rebuilding my server, as it has been
lying for 18 months now.

What is the best choice of distro to use for a server at the moment?

I dont plan on doing anything fancy with it (it is only a 1gz mini-itx
machine), so as long as its secure, stable, and I can program and run
some graphical applications to be controlled by infrared (lirc).

Thanks

Chris
