A Contactor would work nicely.

I use contactors to switch the heating - 240v in (very low ampage) -
switches the larger ampage load.

[ukha_d] Mains activated extension socket
.
Category:

Anybody know of a 230v AC activated extension socket.

I want to switch on several 230v AC appliance's when I switch my AV amp
on. The amp has a 230V output which is only capable of 100 watts...

I know I can make something but it would be better if I can buy
something off the shelf.

Thanks

Steve
