Re: {Disarmed} Fw: Network media player

I suggest you checkout this article (and site)

http://www.mpcclub.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=253

There's a link to a PDF review of the latest DViCo HD media players.

The MPCCLub is a great site for all-things Media player, and there are
forums too so worth a read before making a purchasing decision. Lots of
Kiss stuff on there too.

Personally, I've been using a Transgear DVX-500 DVD/Media player for the
past few years and have been more than pleased. Unfortunately it doesn't
play HD content, but plays virtually any xVid/DivX SD file I throw at it.

I've been experimenting with a Dueple 350 which does support HD via a
HDMI port, but the codec support seems lacking and its a bit unstable
when it encounters a file it doesn't like.

The new DViCo boxes do look tempting! Might wait for a few more firmware
updates before taking the plunge though.

Cheers,

Neil
