I thought xAP could do this, maybe xAP Switchboard, but I'm not sure.
Maybe you could "fool" Switchboard into thinking it had a call
when in
fact is was the door bell and the desktop pop-up would display the
most recent still photo from the door cam.
I don't (yet) run xAP so can't confirm for sure, but I thought it could do
it...
