RE: CBus control of extract fans?

I just start it manually via a CBUS wallswitch currently. The only
"smarts" I have touching it are an all-on and an all-off scene,
controlled via a PAC. - in a nutshell, the same button on the
switchplate becomes either all-on or all-off depending on what's
currently on or off in the room, - if the majority of the loads are off,
it's an all-on button, and vice-versa.

I don't currently do any other logic with it.

Ah OK - how do you initiate the fan starting?

I guess you can also add this into a scene or set manually control via a
DLT etc as you would any old light? (thinking of manual control if
needed).

I'll also need to do this with a large extract fan in node0 but possibly
based on a bit of logic - inside/outside temperature etc to control the
fan speed. Any thoughts on this bit too?

Cheers,

Paul.
