RE: Live picture of my birdbox

Hi Ian,
We have a B&W camera in a bluetit nesting box plugged into geovision.
2nd
year now with 7 eggs last year (5 hatched) and another 7 this (looks like 6
have hatched).

Highly recommended thing to do.... one of my better 'gadgets' and gets as
much WAF as the Tivo (that's good!!).

I've given access to a few family members - just need to find some time to
sort out some sort of an upload as quite a few friends have asked for
access
but I've so far refused for fear of killing my broadband.

John

Subject: [ukha_d] Live picture of my birdbox

Last Christmas, I got my wife a birdbox with a colour camera in it. We
can see live action on the kitchen TV, and even use Picture-in-picture
to watch News24 and the birds at the same time.

We've now added a camera server and get loads of piccies due to motion
sensing, and I also just added a script to my Linux box to upload a
live picture every minute.

Enjoy live(ish) pictures of our nesting Bluetits here.

They have nine eggs and the first should hatch in just a few days.
Follow the link to our flickr site and you can see the action so far
this year, and also loads of archived stuff from last year.
