On the subject of backup software don't forget good old NTBackup that
ships with the OS. It just works. Okay it may not central report etc,
etc but wrapping the command-line around a VBScript does just about
everything you want.

Must say VMWare is absolutely fantastic, version 3.0 of ESX is just so
good. We also use Platespin so we can do P2V and even P2P. Has made
datacentre oves a breeze
