Well I went and I did see a few things...

=20

I did see the orange pipe... I was interested as I would like a Fibre link
=
from the house to the gate, 120 meters plus. Every time we have a
lightning=
storm I lose another port on my Ethernet switch because the CAT5e picks up=
too much current...

=20

As Mike says, =A32 / meter, oh and you have to buy 1Km at a time, and then
=
there is the fibre and the special kit to blow it up the pipe, and then
the=
terminal equipment...

=20

All the time I can buy a switch for a fraction of this cost I may as well
h=
ave a few backups in the cupboard...

Oh and you have to check out the guys selling orange sleeving at =A32 a
met=
re so at a later date you can blow fibre optics round your house!!!!
The kit for the fibre was too expense at present nor was it working !!
They suggested one fibre run to each room!!
As that's all you could blow up the tube

Make your own mind up ;-)
Mike
