Yes...
Seems mostly from people who didn't read the wiki or were using untried
roms etc.
Also seems like the "tools" to do these sort of upgrades have
really
come on in the last month or so.
AFAIU installing Hard-SPL Boot Loader first, should at least prevent
most of the "bricking" and gives the option to recover back to
the
shipped state so you can send it back under warranty
Still plucking up the courage to try it myself. :-)
