As part of my ongoing project to spy on our 1yr old during her
midnight
tantrums, I thought I'd try one of these:

At =A330 for a wireless camera you can't go wrong, can you?

Anyway, it arrived this morning, complete with 2 wall warts (1 for the
receiver, one for the camera) and a 9v battery lead should you wish to
powe=
r
the camera from a battery (don't know how long that would last though, as
the camera body does get a little warm). The camera itself has a very
soli=
d
metal body with a stubby aerial on top, not bad looking for this type of
thing. Interestingly it's got a rubber seal on it, but it's not clear from
the hopeless instructions whether it's intended for outside use.

Anyway, after 5 mins I've got it plugged into the composite input on my
monitor, and it's really not bad. A little interference every now and them
(hardly surprising considering all gubbins in this house, not to mention
foil-back insulation in all the ceilings), but the picture isn't bad.
Colours a little washed out, and not as sharp as my Panasonic IP cameras,
but still good enough for what I need, and the night-vision seems good as
well.

For =A330 inc VAT, it's seems like a bargain. Not sure if you could run
mo=
re
than 1 of these though, there doesn't appear to be a frequency adjustment
o=
n
the camera, and the receiver just has a little tuning knob.

A question, to which I think I know the answer - I've got a loftbox which
will take a cctv input, but it needs to be modulated, which composite

Thanks
