Re: Microsoft Surface - new video

When I first saw MS Surface I was under the impression that it was an
extremely clever TFT touchscreen (my mistake!) The demos have always shown
very vibrant images, however when you see actual footage the screens look
like a poor rear projection TV. ISTR a price of $15,000 was mentioned -
and now seeing how it's all done this price is looking expensive.
Also, the main areas where they seem to want to sell is technology are bars
and restaurants - how the hell are you supposed to get your knees under the
table! :o)
It's still a brilliant idea though!!!

Regards

Simon

Yeah! based on a projector and cameras!
Makes you wonder how long it would be for Apple to apply those multi
touch screens they are using on their new iPhones to something like
this! Then maybe it would be the thickness of an LCD tv rather than an
ottoman!

I bet MS were a little miffed a little at Apple! better late than not at
all.

Wayne.
