Drobo Raid Home Server alternative
Automated Home DiscussionAs part of a work project I found this
www.drobo.com
Which looks to be an interesting alternative to a Raid set - or even home
server.
Basically a $500 storage "appliance" that runs on UK mains
voltage and contains 4 x SATA disks that are hot plug and play, a form of
NAS.
It seems to be building a bit of a following in the States - could be very
useful in a HA environment.
