Re: Re: X10 dimmer question

Same here.
Dimmer ordered from Hong Kong Sunday 8th July. Received on Isle of Wight
morning Wednesday 11th. Amazing!

Spooky.. the X10^2 Appliance module just landed on my desk.. all wrapped
up with a pretty ribbon around it !

That's pretty quick delivery from Kevin Lo in Hong Kong !

Anyway, just read the "manual" and its only mention is the phrase
"connect up your old switches" , what ever that means, and the
diagram
that that shows latching style switches.

Guess, I'll give it a go tonight and see what happens.

Marcus

That's not what the PDF manual implies....

...but I'm MORE than happy if they do work with momentary as well. It
was hard enough to get SWMBO to accept the change over to momentary
press light switches without then having to revert the kitchen lights
back onto "normal" switches.

Cheers,

Marcus

Hi,

I have one of Kevin Lo's X10^2 micro-modules, and they do work with
BOTH latch and momentary switches.

I gotta say they are very reliable as well. Like a whole new
definition to X10.

Thanks,
Wayne
