There's a few threads on this - have a go on Google for V+ NTL and
analogue bypass (or analog bypass). I assume you have no TV aerial on
the property and so were getting analog via pass through from NTL's
cable ? Basically I think you're stuck with how this operates but you
can add a bypass before the V+ box that will add back the 5 terrestrial
channels - the parts are available (FOC) from NTL but are very difficult
to get hold of and this varies by region. The installers don't have them
- only NTL service engineers and they may charge to come out.
NTL/Virgin regard analogue as 'gone' now so don't want to provide these
at all anymore. Alternatively you can just add the splitter bits
yourself - they are available from Maplin for just a couple of pounds
(try adding Maplin into the Google search).
