Yahoo's 'loop time' is very variable for me too  - some posts are
taking
many hours, even days to arrive but some get straight there. It seems a
mixture of delays from my sending to Yahoo receiving them ( or doing its
bit posting them to the list as Neil says below) but I also get delays
in emails coming back from Yahoo, ie I can see the posts on the web
interface but don't get them back by email for a very long time.   I
haven't investigated where these delays are on this return leg ...  -
I'll have a look at some headers next time it happens.
