Hi,

not quite a home automation question, but I am sure a few of you will have
installed your own showers so thought I'd give it a shot,

have been installing my new bathroom this week, and have one problem that I
cannot solve. I have bought a new shower valve :

but cannot find any way of attaching it to the wall. There are no brackets
etc, just the chrome rings that cover the hot and cold connectors. It is
quite heavy and I cannot believe that just the pipework is supposed to
suppor this weight, resting against the tiles. No joy as yet with the
supplier.

Anybody got any experience in installing something like this, I am starting
to wonder if something is missing from the box, some kind of plate to
attach
to the wall behind the tiles that the chrome rings could push onto?

Any sugestions gratefully received.

Thanks
AndyG
