Phil,
Just had a look at the cables that came with mine and they are straight
through. Havn't tried them yet though -:(

Subject: [ukha_d] HomePlug question...

...anyone know whether the HomePlug units need a straight through or a
crossover cable to connect them to an ethernet switch? (Or whether they
need
to be used with the "uplink" ports of the switches.)

I've ordered a set of the 85mbit units to allow me to remove the length of
CAT5e that runs across my lounge carpet which connects together the
ethernet
switch in the lounge with the ethernet switch in the computer room -
hopefully they'll be fast enough for what I need.

Phil
