The credit limit they granted me will more than cover the outgoings we
have each month for 12 months.
I should clarify though that 'entire expenditure' excludes my mortgage
payments, council tax and utilities as all these are paid by monthly DDR
on the same day I'm paid :-(
But.....it does cover food, drink, entertaining and everything else you
can think of.

We also have a 'fair sum' on a couple of balance transfer cards which is
promptly chucked into a savings account. Again to offset the mortgage
interest. The trick here is to find cards that have NO balance transfer
fee. The Post Office recently had a great deal which we both took up :-)
Its what Martin
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditcards
describes as being a credit card "tart" and does have to be done
carefully.

Loads of advice on Martins site. OK, were not talking HUGE earnings but
its more than possible to 'work' the UK credit system to make a good
couple of grand a year. Oh and your credit rating needs to be good to
achieve it.

Just to keep things on topic; Spend the earnings on HA toys :-)
