A 2 amp fuse would be sufficient for a 460W load which I am guessing is way
above the actual running or starting power required for the fan. I would
suggest that if the fuse ever did blow then you would almost certainly need
to crawl through the cobwebs to reach the transformer anyway irrespective
of
where the fuse was located.
